Welcome

Thank you for visiting my blog, and contributing to the number of 'hits' on this lame excuse for a website. Who am I? Good question. Where am I? I'm in Iraq at this moment, although by the time you read this I may be and probably will be anywhere else in the world. Why am I? Are you talking about the blog, or me personally...is the blog talking to YOU?!? Do not worry your mind with these questions they are not important. Just know that this welcome is for YOU, and has been written after a few too many beers in the Iraqi Kurdistan capital of Erbil. I've written this blog mainly for the odd cyclist who needs info on Iraq (for which blogs are scarce), for my friends and family who will be the only ones who know my true identity yet had no idea I was going to ride my bike through Iraq, and for any other random who has stumbled onto this blog. You randoms are most welcome, for you shall inherit the earth...what am I babbling on about?? On with the show!!
